This season’s biggest beauty trend, strong red lips, created . First, in New York, limited-edition tubes of MAC’s Ruffian Red lipstick were given to show attendees— the tomato shade was so well-received it even had beauty editors calling it The Rarest Red. Later, in Milan, the Chanel “liquid” lips at Sportmax created a similar sensation. This time the siren shade was buzzed about by American editors who couldn’t get their hands on the European-released shade just yet. Regardless it seems the ubiquitous rep-lipstick look will be back in a big way for Fall 2009—that is, if you can get your hands on the right shade.
